Columbia Gorge Christian Fellowship Presents Gospel Light's "SON HARVEST COUNTY FAIR" VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL- "County Fair" is a great time of teaching the Biblical principles of Galatians 6 and the "Fruit of the Spirit". There will be crafts, games, snacks, and prizes throughout the week with a great slip-n-slide rounding out the week on Friday. There is no charge and "County Fair" is open to all children ages 4-12 (going into Grade 6) and starts Monday, July 28, 2008 from 9 am-11:30 am running through Friday, August 1st.

This Week's Shepherd's Staff- Are you happy? I recently read an article online entitled, "How much is enough?", which dealt with money and it's impact on happiness The question was asked because most recent studies on happiness have shown that increased wealth doesn't increase a person's or society's happiness. In fact one study reported recently that people with assets over $10 million were no happier than the Inuit people of Northern Greenland or the Masai people in Kenya; people groups who had no running water.
