  • A Sunday morning Christian church service

  • A school for local children (Nursery through 12th Grade)

  • An outreach to a leper colony outside of Jammu City

As of December 2007, Calvary Mission houses 40 boys and girls. Some of the children had previously lived in the slums of the city. They are provided a loving, home and family environment, with food, beds, and healthcare. They attend school, and wear the school uniform. All children have the opportunity to learn the gospel of Jesus Christ during Bible studies.

Church Services

9:00 AM-1:00 PM- Sunday morning service (10:30 AM-1:00 PM during the Winter months).

4:00- 7:00 PM Sundays- Distribution of tracts, and sharing the Gospel in Samba and surrounding villages.

7:00-9:00 PM Fridays- fasting and prayer service.

Education

On the premises, there is a school which provides a quality education for about 250 local children. All children are welcome, without regard to caste, creed, or religion. The Calvary Mission makes available vocational and professional training to help youth in the community to compete for jobs in the area. This includes a literacy program for adults.

Leper Colony

Pastor Pradeep Masih provides an outreach to a colony of lepers outside of Jammu City. The community includes several entire families. Calvary Mission helps provide for physical needs such as food and blankets.

Religion that God our father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world. James1:27
Religion that God our father accepts as
pure and faultless is this: to look after
orphans and widows in their distress and to
keep oneself from being polluted by the world.
James1:27
But you, O God, do see trouble and grief;
But you, O God, do see trouble and grief;
you consider it to take it in hand
the victim commits himself to you;
you are the helper of the fatherless.

Psalms 10:14
